Edmonton’s river valley is an incredible urban natural area, spanning the entire city. With intact forests, open meadows, steep banks and open floodplain, the biodiversity of this urban area is truly special.
In the interest of promoting outdoor experiences to Edmontonians, Katherine’s design group came up with this program. Through guided foraging activities, the program would encourage residents to get outside and learn about their natural surroundings while close to home.
Funguides aimed to provide experiences for all urban residents, and provided a variety of different experiences for guests to choose from.
