Hostelling International has operated in Jasper National Park for quite some time. Their hostel network is a unique asset, with accommodation locations spread along the remote Icefields Parkway. Their Jasper Townsite location, however, is ageing and poorly located. With construction of a new facility within the townsite, HI Jasper would have a renewed presence in Jasper.
Headwall Engineering was contracted by the structural consultant to perform construction inspections on the foundations for the new hostel site. Being located in Jasper, we were able to be very responsive and help reduce delays due to inspection requirements.
Headwall was pleased to help TRL and Hostelling International make the new HI Jasper Hostel a reality.
