Jasper’s IDA pharmacy building had previously been as-constructed since the early 1970s. In the interests of providing shoppers with a protected canopy, and providing a more mountain-esque feel, the owner of the building wished to renovate the front facade.
Headwall Engineering completed the design of the front facade, and also used creative structural detailing to allow for a protected canopy that cantilevers over the pedestrian walk below. The result is a renewed building that fits closely into the surrounding architecture.
